Setting categories from within a post

  • I have set up Flickr so I can post photos directly to my WP blog from within Flickr. I would like for all of these posts to be automatically placed in my “Photos” category. Is there a way to set the category of a post from within the text of the post itself?

    Thanks! I know this has been discussed here, but it doesn’t seem that they found a workable solution, and I’d rather avoid changing my default category if possible.

  • I’m wondering about this too — I haven’t found a solution thus far, but like yourself, webel, I’d find this very useful, and more efficient than having to edit a post after blogging it from Flickr and changing categories.
