Setting different email for contacts than the admin one

One way you could do this is by changing the admin email address in Settings -> General to his email address. He wouldn’t be able to do admin tasks, but he would get the notifications that Appointments+ sends out.

This should be also possible by adding a filter to your theme functions.php

apply_filters( 'app_get_admin_email', '[email protected]', 999 );

replace [email protected] with the email address you want to use instead.
