setting featured image

  • We are setting up a new blog for our organisation. I’ve imported all the existing blog posts to the new site, and imported all the images. However, even though the images all exist on WP and show up on the post pages, they do not show up on the main blog listing. I’ve found that all the imported pictures, although in the blogs themselves are not listed as featured images.
    If I deleted a picture from a blog, and then reinsert it from the media library, I can check the featured image box and everything works.
    However, I have got several hundred blogs posts to do this for. Is there an easier way of making the first image in a post the featured image by default?
