Post Setting “featured image” disappeared after wordpress upgraded to 5.9

Just upgraded to version 5.9, but found “featured image” on post setting panel disappeared when creating or editing a post. If so, can’t add a featured image for post.

This happened same on other sites after upgrading to 5.9.

However, featured image can still be added to a page.
