Is it possible to disable the availability from all products (20 for example) all at once?

Background: I support a little stores website/ shop who does take orders for pickup and when that happens on a specific date its supposed to not get any orderings until it is again activated (with new numbers of availabilities) for the next sale day.

I could only figure out how to do it manually for each product. A master function or way to do it would really help me out much.

Thanks in advance for the time & help!
    Stephanie

  • Hello,

Have you tried using the bulk-edit feature in All Products? You can choose the applicable products, select Edit and Apply, and bulk-update the product data such as visibility and stock.

When I do that and make the availability change for all and click “update” it is not making any changes. Am I doing something wrong if this is the way it works?

    Thanks again in advance!

    Hi @sjkd ,

    Thanks for providing an update!

When I do that and make the availability change for all and click “update” it is not making any changes

Please could you clear your sites caching, and see if that makes any difference?

Below is a detailed guide on how this can be done:
    https://wordpress.com/support/clear-your-sites-cache/

Additionally, please could you share a copy of your sites System Status in order for a better understanding of your site setup. This can be found via?WooCommerce > Status. Select ‘Get system report’ and then ‘Copy for support’.

Once you do this, you can paste your response here.

    Thanks!

    Hi @sjkd

It looks like it is not working as expected, you can clear the site cache as mentioned by Roxanne, then switch your theme to Storefront, disable all plugins except for WooCommerce, then go to bulk-edit feature on All products tab, and check if the issue persists.

If the issue is not present it is because there was a conflict, and then you can reactivate the theme and plugins gradually one by one (checking again after each reactivation) until you find the cause of the issue.

    More info is below:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Let us know if this worked for you.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, (I think that at this point you have been able to find a solution) so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

    Thanks.
