• A topic I’ve been trying to get info on for a long time.

Is there a way in which to have your WP homepage, (eg static welcome page) set, to a be followed by posts as in a normal blog without the visitor having to click on another internal link? (eg. In a side bar menu etc?)
For example: Someone clicks on my homepage in Google. On opening it all they see is the homepage which is a “PAGE” (eg. Welcome page or about page etc) but there’s nothing below it meaning they have to click on a widget or menu in order to view the posts?

It would seem that wordpress only allows the 2 options of setting your homepage to either a static page of your choice or….your last post.

I’d like to have it so that the latest post is seen directly under the homepage in the same window so that the visitor only needs to scroll down to the posts.

I’m sure there must be a way of doing this and if anyone can help I’ll be eternally grateful.

    Sean
