setting membership expiration for one-time charge memberships

I want to offer 6-month and one-year memberships that don’t auto-renew – is this possible?

It seems like there is just an option to offer a one-time fee for a membership that never expires or a membership with recurring payments that can be set to expire after “x” amount of billing cycles.
