    Maybe it’s designed this way, but it seems odd that if you save privacy preferences, it dismisses the popup notice even though you haven’t yet clicked on I agree (to the privacy policy)

  • I see the same behavior. The save works as an agree, which might be a bug.

    Exactly. Saving cookie preferences isn’t actually agreeing to the privacy policy, although I can see that it does imply consent because why else would you save preferences if you didn’t intend to continue using the site. Still, I think it needs addressing.

    Hi guys,

    The problem here really is that the bar was appearing over the re-consent window.

    The bar is not just for cookies. It is for cookies and consent. It is really for the entire privacy preferences. So if you agree to the bar, you are basically setting the privacy policy consent, thus removing the reconsent window.

    We got a fix ready to go that I will be publishing later today.

    This re-consent window is also going to change to something less intrusive.
