Setting the default tickets

I tried using the following snippet copied from the WP Events Manager Pastebin:

I’m able to set the tickets and prices, but I don’t seem to be able to set the “name” or “description” fields – they just revert to the default (“Standard Ticket” and blank).
Obviously the Pastebin code is quite old but I don’t know what I should be setting!
