    Hello,

Thank you for this great plugin! Exactly what I needed.

I am wondering if I misunderstand of if the following is intentional.

It seems I am only able to select the focal point of the image in the Edit Media screen. It is not possible to set the focal point on the media library Attachment Details page.

    Edit Media URL: ../wp-admin/post.php?post=5708&action=edit
    Attachment Details: ../wp-admin/upload.php?item=5708

Is this correct? And if so, the description of the checkbox should be adjusted. Now it states: “Select a focal point for this image by clicking on the preview image”. But the point can not be set on that page.

    Kind regards,
    Robbert

You are correct that you are supposed to be able to set the smartcrop focus from either the media library or the add media modal. Apparently WordPress changed how the media library javascript is enqueued with a recent version update, so we need to refactor some of our admin JavaScript to match. We currently have an update scheduled for later this month, if all goes well.

Thank you for your response! Much appreciated. Will wait patiently ;).

I just tried the plugin, functions seem to not be working.
Should it be working now, or is there an update coming?

    Hi Opicron and Mark,

The newly released version has a complete rewrite of the user interface that should be much more reliable on all the variations of the media library interface.

Thanks for your patience, and sorry for the long delay.

I checked the new version. It is definately more future proof. Although I loved the initial focal point select method.
