Setting to save the images

Hi,

This is a great plugin. Its been very helpful in my case. However, it adds a query string in the image url & also it generates images on the fly. Any possibility to save the thumbnails generated by this plugin to disk, so that this plugin doesn’t have to regenerate the images again and again if the images are already existing with defined dimensions?
