    Hi all,

I’m building a site where I have to set up a menu for a podcast series. The podcasts have a hierarchical organization, like this:

    • Season 1
    • Season 2
      • Round 1
      • Round 2
        • Episode 1
        • Episode 2

What’s the best way to set up a menu for this hierarchy? I was thinking of using categories, with seasons at the top level and rounds as a subcategory. Individual episodes are all prefixed with Episode <n>:so they will sort alphanumerically within each round.

Does that sound like a feasible scheme?

    Thanks, all.

  • Hi @akubrin , Yes this should work Seasons as a parent category, followed by Rounds as a child category for Season. And the individual Episodes can be posts/ CPT’s. The Episodes will be sorted based on the publish date of each episode.

    Hope it helps

Hi @im3dabasia1, thanks for your reply. Glad to know I’m on the right track. Thanks for adding the detail about the episodes sorting by date. I wouldn’t have known that otherwise.
