    Hi,

I sell hand-made textile goods, cushions and suchlike. Each piece is individual and no duplicates. I do make some in advance and hold that item as stock, which is easy to list.

But I also make to customer order.

I can list for example option’s for the individual items, blue cushion, red cushion, white cushion.

I would then like an option for ‘Custom cushion’ where this then opens a form, where the customer can write their own order. Possibly with drop-down suggestions like size, colours, fabrics etc. But also with space for the customer to write what they like as a description.

As yet I am not sure how to do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Paul

I’d recommend using a plugin to achieve this – Product Add-Ons might be a good fit here. You can add more advanced options to products and allow your customers to enter custom text.

To learn more about the plugin, please check out the documentation here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/product-add-ons/

    Hi,

Thanks for this. I’ll have a look. I should have said I am using woocommerce. I’m happy to use a different solution if that helps.

Again any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @henrymaycom

I should have said I am using woocommerce. I’m happy to use a different solution if that helps.

Just to clarify, Product Add-Ons adds extra features to core WooCommerce – you do need to use WooCommerce in order for the Product Add-Ons plugin to work.

    I hope it clarifies.
