• Hello,

I working with a wordpress theme that allow for a scroll banner. In order to have images appear in the scroll banner, I need to select custom field values, when I am creating a new post.

However, I do not have access to the custom field values (add new custom field, select custom field, value) and I cannot figure out how to setup wordpress in the back-end to allow for custom fields.

This is my first go-around and I haven’t found any helpful tutorials on this subject. Any pointers and a basic walk-through-this-process is highly appreciated.

  • Howdy,

Are you logging in to your site as an Administrator?

At the top of your dashboard, you can also click “Screen Options” to then hide / show various panels in your write / edit screens.
Is it possible that custom fields are hidden, and you just need to select it there?

    Let me know,
    Paul
