I’m living in germany and launched an ecommerce shop. I sell digital products and a high percentage of my customers live in the US. Currently the shop’s currency is euro and customers from the U.S. have to pay a fee when they buy a product.

To increase my conversion rate I would like to add a currency switcher and accept us dollar as well.

I guess I have to pay fees for the currency conversion but I would like to try it out. My payment gateways are paypal and stripe (credit cards).

Does anyone if this is possible and how much fees I have to pay?

Is this easy to set up?

Didn’t find clear answers and data for neither paypal nor stripe.

    Help is very much appreciated.
