    Howdy!

The full documentation to help setup this plugin can be found here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/google-analytics-integration/

Once you setup everything, you can check to see if it’s working properly by going to your Analytics account (here: https://analytics.google.com/) and checking to see if information is being added (example: https://cld.wthms.co/lFlt7Q).

    I hope this helps!

Hi Zach, thank you for helping.
I’ve succesfully set up the plugin but still no ecommerce data is coming in.
I don’t really get the goals and the events and how to set them up.
Is the ecommerce data supposed to come directly to the analytics account as soon as I finished setting up the plugin, or I have to set up these goals and events before?
    Thanks!

Thanks for getting back to me!

What specific goals and events are you trying to track?

Please keep in mind that goals and events will only be tracked after you set things up, and will come in as they happen. Most things that happened before you set things up wouldn’t have had a way to be recorded.

my main purpose is to track by analytics the income from each traffic source in order to get a bright picture for advertising optimization and effectiveness.
After that I want to track events which visitors make on the website such as view product, click add to cart, checkout and purchase as facebook pixel does in order to improve and optimize google adwords advertisments.
Currently I have none of these in google analytics and it is very frusrating because I don’t know which traffic source is the most effective and can’t track the visitors smartly for adverstising.
    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks for that info!

my main purpose is to track by analytics the income from each traffic source in order to get a bright picture for advertising optimization and effectiveness.

To see the overall traffic referrals, you can go to Acquisition > All Traffic > Source/Medium in your Google Analytics Account here: https://cld.wthms.co/1KbiV9

Make sure when you setup the plugin you completely followed the steps here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/google-analytics-integration/, especially the “Ecommerce Settings” under the “Setup and Configuration”

After that I want to track events which visitors make on the website such as view product, click add to cart, checkout and purchase as facebook pixel does in order to improve and optimize google adwords advertisments.

The information here should get you started: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1009612?hl=en and I’d suggest checking out some videos here to help you setup things the way you need: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=setting+up+ecommerce+tracking+in+google+analytics

    I hope this helps!
