• I’ve got a couple of questions about setting up mailing lists.

    Currently I have Mailpress and wp-email installed but clearly I don’t need both, so which one to use and if they’re both active, do they ‘collide’ with each other?

    Second, I have about 150 subscribers but there doesn’t seem to be any way of getting the subscriber list into either of these plugins.

    I checked out the ‘complete guide to Email’ but either I’m dumb or it’s not a complete guide as I couldn’t find an answer to these very basic questions.

    If you have 150 registered users in WordPress, you can use MailPress addon (see zip files in mailpress folder)

    * mailpress_sync_wordpress_user

    if you want to organize those 150 users, use

    * mailpress_mailing_lists

    Okay, thanks. Obviously I have to unzip them first?

    PS: I’ve just discovered that there’s something amiss with my Mailpress, maybe corrupted as the folder cannot be opened!

    Question: Does the Mailpress_mailing_lists go into the same folder as mailpress or into the plugins folder?

    All of the mailpress add-ons go in the plugins directory.

    “They are in fact WordPress plugins interacting with MailPress.”

    Let us know if you can batch send to these subscribers, seems like noone has been able to successfully batch-send and the author is providing no help on this matter.
