    Hey Jordy,

I’m using this plugin for a clients site.

So if im correct you take the uploaded image and make smaller versions?
shouldn’t you be upscaling not downscaling?

Like if someone gives you an image that has an odd amount of pixels you cant half that… You can however double it.

I normally use this plugin and manually upload the 1x and the 2x myself. But the client will be uploading images and I need to make it simple for him.
Do I just tell him to uploaded the largest image he has?

Lastly does this work with cdn’s like WP offload media plugin?

    Hi Eric,

You can round that number, and in fact, with Responsive Images, that accuracy doesn’t matter: the browser will pick the image that it feels fit the best and will resize it slightly as well, depending on the conditions ??

Of course, you can upload an image, then the retina full-size for that image, and then you in perfect control… but you would also need to avoid using src-set in your website, and directly use the full-size.

Yes, the simplest is to upload the biggest image he has and let the plugin generates all the sizes.

It doesn’t work with “offload” plugins. I am talking about this here:

In fact, it could work, but the offload plugin would have to upload the retina images as well, and then, in the options of Retina, the HTTP Check would have to be used. And in theory, it would work.
