I have one product! It comes in 5 sizes. Each size has a different weight. I am trying to set up three choices for shipping. UPS Ground, UPS 3 day and UPS 2 day.
I have split the country (US) into four zones, Northwest, Southwest, Northeast and Southeast.

I created the four zones and added the states to each zone. I have created classes for each of the 5 product sizes. I have added the pricing to each of the classes for each of the zones.

I still can not get it to work. When I turn off the zone “Domestic” and uncheck the FREE shipping the system does not work. I have looked at and read two “How To” files and still can not get it to work. I have played with all the product settings and set classes for each of the product sizes.

I get a message “No shipping method has been set up for your location”

    Hi there ??

Firstly, could you please let us know if, by any chance, are you using the UPS shipping method plugin for managing the UPS shipping within your WooCommerce store?

    Thanks ??

    HI,

No I am not using any plug-in for shipping. I am just using the woocommerce

I am trying to set up flat shipping rates. I have weighed the 5 items and I have looked up the pricing for shipping in each of the four zones. I have written down the cost for each item and for each shipping method.

So when someone from Wyoming orders item #1 and wants a 2day shipping it will cost 66.55. If someone from Wisconsin wants item #3, and wants it shipped UPS ground it will cost 12.89. As I have mentioned I have done all the research and I have the pricing written down for 4 zones and 5 items and three methods (2day, 3day and 5-day shipping). I just need to figure out how to get the woocommerce system to assign those shipping costs to the items when someone in the 4 zones orders a product.

Here are screen shots of what I have set up. Maybe you can see my error. Right now I have it set up for domestic free shipping. But I am trying to get rid of that and install pre-determined flat rates for the 4 zones and 5 items.

Have a look at the screen shots

Your first Zone ‘Domestic’ is set to US so will trigger when ANY state in the US is selected and ignore everything else. Move it to the bottom of the list

Done, I will disable it as well. I will see if that works.

    Thank you.

O my word. Something that simple.. Thank you Sir. It appears to be working now!

I think I will have some coffee.

Glad you sorted it – that one catches quite a few people out!
