Setting up weeks condition

  • Hi,

    we have been using the plugin for a while now without a problem.

    Recently I have been trying to set up rules for widgets based on the Weeks
    condition, while Days seem to work fine and accurately – the Widgets are still
    displayed even when set all to ‘no’ except week 6 for example. I tried it also
    the other way around, when set to ‘yes’ and ticked all weeks except week 6 .
    I fail to understand ” Beware of double rules!” We having another condition
    to set all to ‘no’ except show only on certain pages and that works fine as mentioned above for days but not for weeks. In WordPress the general ‘Week starts on …’ is set to Mondays and the time an date is correct. Could it be there is a bug? Or are the settings interfearing?

    I know there is the powerful dates function but I would set up widgest to rotate weekly throughout the year. Please advise!

    It might be a double rule here as you mentioned you also use days. Like you hide a widget on week 6, but it shows on Monday. I can’t check at the moment, but by heart days takes precedence above weeks.

    Hi Qurl,

    no I tried to rule that out, I created new widgets and set them only to week condition. The only other setting I change is “set all options to no” and selected a couple of Pages + All childs.

    Hmm… weird… I have someone else also claiming the week module is not working correctly. I checked, but can’t reproduce. I’ll check again when I have time. Maybe I’m missing something.

    Hi Qurl,

    thanks for looking into it. It seems that the other way around set “Show widget on every week?” to Yes and exclude the weeks there works probably but to test in real time needs also a bit of patience to wait for another calendar week ??
