Setting up wordpress without a site

Can I install wordpress and yoast without having them connected to a site / domain so that I can build the site and get the contact SEO friendly.

You could build the site locally, https://make.www.ads-software.com/core/handbook/installing-a-local-server/.

Or you could install WordPress on a sub-domain (e.g., wordpress.gregcoltmanphotography.com). But you would need a hosting account. If you don’t have one, here are some options, https://www.ads-software.com/hosting/

You could make use of wordpress.com and build website on it using the subdomain.wordpress.com, later after getting familiar with wordpress you can move to selfhosted www.ads-software.com installation. In the other case you can also work on www.ads-software.com on localhost or else you can host on any servers and can point your domian to the ip. In this case I recommend switchhosts plugin for firefox or similar that makes you not to point the domain name to server, but work like you are developing on existing domain.

Suppose if I go for selfhosted plan from any hosting company then how to do the movement. I mean transfer from https://www.myWebsite.wordpress.com to https://www.myWebsite.com –

The steps needed for that…?
