Setting up Yoast on a test environment?

  • Hi!

    I’m upgrading a website to improve it’s functionality and SEO. Therefor I created a test environment (subdomain, migrated live database and WP installation files).

    Now, if I want to put on Yoast tools on it, set it up and then migrate it to the live environment, how would that look?

    Riht now I have installed but disabled the plugin because some of the options available are related to Google Webmaster’s tools etc which are connected to live environment.

    So when I want to export from live again and import to test then I will- first thing- disable Yoast SEO in test environment and then I will go it all over once I’m live again.

    I’m at crossroads here- how to set it up so that it won’t affect live enviornment?
