Settings & Categories?

None of the settings ever do anything. No matter what I change them to, no speed change, no maximum number of items displayed changes, no navigation shows up, no transition change. Nothing. And what is the point of the Carousels, ADD NEW, categories, Featured Image? That doesn’t seem to do anything either. I’m sure I have something set up incorrectly, but I don’t know what it could be.

I have the shortcode in a post [carousel][item img_link=”img-link-here”][/carousel] and this is the only part that seems to work. The carousel images show up and it moves. The links work. But that’s all. Any ideas what could be going wrong?
