Settings clarification

  • Hello, I’m installing the plugin and following your documentation but I think we could benefit from some clarification here:

    Base URL – is this required? What should it be set to?

    Hostname – should this be the website URL or the pirsch.io subdomain?

    Client ID – after adding a client in the dashboard (using the recommended Access Key method), how do we obtain the client ID?

    Hi! I agree, the plugin configuration is a bit confusing. We’ll build a version 2.0 at some point improving upon that (and more).

    For clarification:

    • Base URL can be left empty, that’s for a proxy or testing
    • Hostname should be your own domain
    • Client ID can be left empty if you use an access token
