What is the options.php file permission set to?

    644

No you can’t change the url it is set to mdocs-post.

It should display all memphis docs if you have added a tag to the file.

Make sure you have advanced search on.

    I can’t still save settings.

Can I get a lower version, so I can try it?

for a quick test first can you change the options.php file to 777 then try and save. Once you have done the test change it back to 644.

older version can be found here.

scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for the title “Previous Versions”

Sadly, it is still the same issue.
Even on another website, I tried it, the same issue.

But, I tried it on local server, it saved.

it sounds like a configuration issue on your production server. Can you take a look at your apache logs for the 404 error and see if there is anymore details.

    Thread Starter Chinonso Enyiuche

    (@nehemiah459)

There is no error being displayed.
What I noticed is that, it doesn’t write the settings into options.php.

So maybe its not the options file maybe its where it is trying to redirect to which is the mdocs settings page. What is the exact URL for that

    (@nehemiah459)

To be honest with you, I think I will just give up. Just that no plugin offers what your plugin does.
I believe the issue is server side, and not from your plugin.
    Thanks for your time.

I’ve been experimenting with using a regular expression in a Redirection rule to map “mdocs-post” to “documents” but am not sure if this will break the back-end functionality of Memphis Docs. In theory, it should work, but I haven’t tried it yet.

Feature request: Add an option to Memphis Docs configuration to let the end user define the CPT slug.

Sorry for the late reply I’ve been on holiday. Did you test your theory yet?

And I will add that feature request, what does CPT slug mean?
