    Hi support team!

I’m using both the paid and free versions of Loginizer on my sites, but the problem I have appears in both.

I’ve set the setting “Blocked Screen (Shows a error page in place of login page if the user gets locked out or is blacklisted, to prevent attacker from trying to login when locked out which saves resources.)” in either version using Firefox/Mac on my WP install. And then I save the settings. If I refresh the page, the setting shows checked no problem, but the next day, I come back and the setting is GONE. It’s reset back to not checked for some reason.

    What’s wrong?

    Hello,

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Would you please tell us if you have object cache enabled, Things like this could happen because of that. And would you please tell us out of the free features is this the only option that shows this behaviour or other settings are showing same behaviour like this.

    Regards,
    Loginizer Team

OK, here’s what I’ve found after experimenting on several sites.

If I flush the cache and then set the setting, it stays set.

HOWEVER, when I add IP addresses to the block list and then clear the logs, the setting appears to be UNSET. If I refresh the page, the setting re-appears correctly, so there’s something about the act of using the Block IP and Clear Logs buttons on the Brute Force screen that doesn’t keep the settings visible until you hard refresh the page.

    Hello,

We are sorry for the delay in repsonse.
Thanks for updating us about that, it seems like the first thing was not a issue but was more of a object cache thing.

The second one seems to be issue, we will look into it and fix it in the next version of Loginizer, do let us know if this issue results in that feature being unable to work.

    Regards,
    Loginizer Team
