Hi, spent 3 hours translating (just English) as the LMS plugin I’m using was written by someone without a grasp of the English Language.

I saved every time I made a change. Took 3 hours.

Nothing changed. Is it because I am using a child theme? How do I make sure the changes take effect within the child theme?

    Thanks.

I have written a guide to translating child themes here.

Please don’t imply my plugin has wasted three hours of your time. WordPress localisation can be a complex topic, especially with child themes. I just provide a file editor. Please read how text domains work and understand how your files are being loaded and used.

    Yikes.

You’re taking offense to something you shouldn’t. I did not imply that you wasted 3 hours of my time. I said it took me 3 hours to make the corrections. 3 hours because the developer of the LMS plugin didn’t have a full grasp of the English language and its use.

The question was asking if I didn’t do all the correct steps.

I have hired a developer who is familiar with your plugin and having them fix the issue.
