Settings for “settings/writing” and Gmail Settings

Hello, a few questions I can’t find a straight answer out there… I’ve seen tons of blog and forum posts with regards to GMAIL and posting via email to my WP account. Can anyone out there answer these:

1. Can we use GMAIL to post remotely to our WP account via POP/IMAP?

2. What is the exact settings for GMAIL to do this?

3. What mail server (GMAIL) do we use for the WP settings?

4. What port number (GMAIL) do we use for the WP settings?

Any clear answers are much appreciated!!!
