Settings lost after plugin update

    Current version: 4.0.13

    We update plugin and noticed all settings from previous version is no longer fetched with new version, while data remained in the database.

    Bug is in the fact that input/checkbox names are changed; for example: name for notification text input is changed from zh_dbd3f_72c31_78e73 to zh_dbd3f_0cfd6_78e73.

    Also, I need to say: amazing naming, really intuitive!

    Great to hear you are enjoying the plugin and love the name. The name took a few iterations to get right! Thank you for the feedback.

    As for the settings data reset, yes you are correct. When we upgraded from v3 to v4+, the new features and functionality required us to improve the database entries for the plugin, this resulted in the previous settings not seamlessly updating. The old data should have been automatically deleted from the DB. If this didn’t occur for you, go ahead and delete the previous entries. The good news, this was a one time requirement and future updates will not require or cause the settings to be reset again.
