We’ve just been asked to update some of the slide links for this site, only the meteor slide settings link is missing from the dashboard. When we go plugins>meteorslides>settings we get a message saying “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
wordpress, and the plugin have just been updated, but we do not know whether this issue was haoppening before or is new following the update.
    Please could you advise?
    Many thanks

So, I have come a bit further. It looks like since the update, admins no longer have permission to edit meteor slider, so I have updtated my profile to include this permission for all aspects of the plugin.
However, I cannot edit any of the slides. They all show in the slides list, but none have a check box, or edit option…
    Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Hi, it sounds like you’ve got a user management plugin installed, something that manages user permissions.

Are you using the Members plugin? Meteor Slides supports the Members plugin, there are options in the user permissions to allow users to access the slideshow settings and other options.

Thanks! I was using a different management plugin and after disabling it, I can now access all the settings I need ??
    Thanks for your help!

    You’re welcome!

I am having a similar problem. I don’t use any user management plugins. Help!
Slides are still working okay. But I can’t get to them on the back end and have new images to upload.

Slides are used on the Rooms page, the overview page and most individual room pages. The home page slider is part of the theme.

Latest version of WP fixed it. Really odd. It “broke” after I upgraded the theme. I upgraded WP at the same time. But the latest WP brought Slides back to the dashboard. ??

@jeanius2 That’s strange, but I’m glad to hear it’s working now!
