Hi, I just installed the plugin and created a board. After creating, I managed to successfully do a test by creating an idea… However, I’m now trying to change the settings and can’t seem to do so. Whenever I click on the Save All Settings button, it will be stuck on “Please wait while we save the settings…” without anything else happening. None of the settings are saved. Apart from creating the board with all default settings, I’ve not changed anything else. There are no other plugins enabled, no chrome extensions enabled and I’ve also tried to do the same thing on Chrome Incognito Mode to no avail.

    PHP Version: 7.2.14-1+ubuntu18.04.1+deb.sury.org+1
    Wordpress Version: 4.9.9
    Plugin Version: 4.36
    Is Pro User: NO
    Current Theme: Iconic One

    Hi @ksmar3,

On the settings page, can you right hand click on the page and click “Inspect”, this will bring up the developer tools. Can you then go to the Console tab and let me know if there are any errors. Before doing this, click the save settings button.

This issue hasn’t been reported by anyone else so this would be strange. Thanks,

I am going to go out on a limb and say I think the issue might be because you have disabled the visual editor in your WordPress user profile: https://borishoekmeijer.nl/tutorials/how-to-solve-wordpress-reference-error-tinymce-not-defined/

The plugin settings require the visual editor be enabled. Thanks,

    Hi,

Thanks for the pointer! The visual editor was already enabled however the nickname was missing under the profile. Once I added the nickname, it worked fine. For some reasons I had to create the user from the database directly, that’s most likely the reason for it.

    Thanks a lot! ??

    Cheers
