    Hi

Love the plugin but having an issue with a newly created role.

On the settings/options page, when I deactivate certain options for the new role, it won’t save. For the standard WordPress roles it save fine. Also when I check a ‘Select all’ option for ‘Deactivate for Contributor’, it also selects them for the newly created role (however, it only saves them for the contributor role).

And help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Mark

It should work, always fine in my tests.

    But please test follow topics.
Is the role slug without space? it give a lot of plugin for custom roles, maybe it is not valid.
Can you save, change other settings? Maybe a topic with the php settings of the server, to much items.

The selector for select all checkboxes was build via menu_options_customrole. Can you check the class of the checkboxes via Webinspector, like in Chrome?

    Hi Frank

Thank you very much – the checkbox for the newly created role initially had a space in and even though I’d renamed it it had keep the old name in the class name. Deleting the role and recreating without spaces (or renaming) worked.

Thank you again for your help, Mark

    Thanks for your feedback.
Which plugin do you use to create the role? Or do you use custom code?
I test often with the plugin Members, this have no invalid strings in the slug of the role.

I use Advanced Access Manager – I initially created a new role with a space in, then renamed it, but it kept the old name as the class name.

    Thanks, Mark
