When saving settings (general) the submit ticket field data is lost on save and returns with ‘none’ set as page.

Tried on a clean install of wordpress with literally no other plugins installed and the same happens. It also effects the company select when creating a new ticket, and looks like all email templates are lost when saving settings.

    Hi,

We apologise for the inconvenience. We acknowledge that this is an issue with our most recent release version 6.3.0, so this is a known issue and the team is actively working on and updating. In the meantime, if you like to use this feature without any issue, we recommend using an older version 6.2.2 of the plugin.

Please follow these steps to download it:

    1. Visit the provided link.
    2. Scroll down to “Advanced Option.”
    3. Under “Please select a specific version to download,” click on the dropdown menu and choose the version you wish to download.
    4. Please backup your site.
    5. Upload this version to your WordPress site and replace the existing plugin.
    6. Please disable auto-update for Awesome support.

This workaround should address the issue temporarily. We expect to release a permanent fix in the next version of the plugin.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

    Best regards,

Email notifications also seem to have stoped with latest release – I guess because many settings are being lost when you click save.

I think perhaps time to jump ship as this issue has renered the core plugin unusable, which means the paid plugins I have on top of core are also useless.

Exact same issue happened a year or to ago and it’s back again in latest version (along with a patchstack security issue reported in another support post).

As a developer myself I find it odd that you don’t test before relasing to repository?

Rolling back to previous version to recover tickets and migrate elsewhere.
