Settings Not working please help ASAP

When I try to add a redirect and click on save its not working.

I am trying to add /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/ redirect to /%postname%/

but after click on save, it is automatically changing to /%year%/%monthnum%/y%/%postname%/ redirecting to /%postname%/

I tried to delete it and enter new entry again still the same error.

/%day%/ is getting changed to /y%/ automatically
