This is driving me nuts. Any time I edit anything in settings, after I save the changes, the “General” tab loads and then clicking on any of the other tabs doesn’t work. I have to reload the Settings page completely in order to access the other tabs. I’m doing a bunch of work with formats, so having to go through this every time I save a change is really slowing me down. It would be nice if when you saved the changes, it remembered what tab and section you were working on and loaded that automatically for you. Something to look at for the next update.

  • This sounds like a possible jQuery conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?

The problem only seems to occur when I click the “Save Changes (All)” button in the Events section under the Formatting tab. Clicking the “Save Changes (All)” button in another section or clicking the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page does not result in the same bug. I will test the issue on a clean install with the default theme running and let you know the result.

After further investigation, I believe the conflict is with Events Manager and WPML. I am using Events Manager because it is currently the only full-featured events calendar plugin that has compatibility with WPML. I deactivated all plugins except Events Manager and Events Manager and WPML Compatibility, and switched to the default Twenty Fifteen theme. The issue stopped. Then as soon as I reactivated the WMPL Multilingual CMS plugin, the issue reappeared. I hope this helps narrow it down.

    Thanks for the extra info.

Which version of Events Manager, WPML, EM / WPML Compatibility and WordPress are you using?

    WordPress: 4.2.2
    Events Manager: 5.5.7.1
    WPML Multilingual CMS: 3.2.2
Events Manager and WPML Compatibility: 0.3

Thanks. It’s hard to say exactly, but I think you’re experiencing bugs that have recently cropped up due to changes in the way WPML works.

We’ve been working with WPML for a while sort things out and should be releasing fixes in the next versions of our plugins.
