• Settings page completely blank since new update. Last update it still appeared, now, there’s no text whatsoever.

    Hey @elisex-1,

is the entire page empty (no menu, etc.) or just the place where the settings usually are is empty?

Also, could you please try deleting and installing once again the plugin? Nobody else is reporting this issue so my best guess is that maybe something went wrong with the update process or something. Let me know!

Ok sounds good let me try. And it’s literally just the place where the settings is. (**Correction: now that I’ve compared to the other working page, no menu and no second message either. See my comment below.)

I tried it on one other of my sites to test if it was just that page (didn’t want to update all of the sites in case it happened to all of them) and that didn’t happen to the second one so yup, may just be a bad update. Be right back, trying it out now.

=/. No sorry. Still not working on this site. Now I’m super curious about whether it’s literally just this site, or maybe a couple others.

Ugh and my custom settings are gone so now it’s all messed up ?? I thought those would save.

Updated another site and settings page disappeared as well. So that’s 2 sites that don’t work and 1 site that does. Maybe people aren’t reporting because they’re not checking the settings page? Everything on the front end looks fine so maybe they haven’t bothered to look because everything is working a-ok on the front end.

On the version that works I get two messages –

    1. You’ve been using jQuery Pin It Button For Images for some time now, could you please give it a review at www.ads-software.com? Yes, take me there → I’ve already done this!

    2. Dismiss this notice.
jQuery Pin It Button for Images Pro is available. Check it out →

On the version where the page is blank I only see the first message and nothing beneath it.

Maybe that’s where the hiccup is? Some unclosed bracket or something? I have no idea… This is just so unusual.

    Hey @elisex-1,

that’s really odd. I tested the plugin on a few sites before publishing and there weren’t any issues. Since I have no means of reproducing the issue, and I’m quite curious what it is, could you please send me an email to jpibfi-support at highfiveplugins dot com ? We’ll go from there.

    Hey @elisex-1,

I didn’t get an email from you, but I guess I’ve figured out what the problem is. If you have Frizzly installed on those websites where the settings page it blank, then Frizzly is the culprit here. Later today I will release an update to Frizzly that fixes the issue and changes a bunch of things.

Ugh!! This didn’t email me. I thought it would even though I didn’t make a comment when I clicked the notify me button and submitted. Guess it doesn’t work that way.

Nope I don’t have Frizzly. Still not working on the same sites it wasn’t working on with the update. I have too many plugins to list though so I’m sure there’s some kind of a conflict there – just too short on time to go through deactivating one by one to figure out which it is, and since I didn’t need to update the plugin settings anyway, I didn’t bother figuring out the conflict. Maybe Jetpack or Easy Social Share Buttons.. dunno.

(Edit: There’s a subscribe button on the right and I didn’t even notice it /facepalm)

    Hey @elisex-1,

yup, that’s a conflict with another plugin. Could you open the settings page, open Developer’s Console (https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/console/ on Chrome, Firefox and IE have simialr things), go to console tab, refresh the page and paste here what it says in the console? There should be an error and it might help me with figuring out what’s wrong.
