We have your plugin working on a different website, but using the same server. We have tried installing a new version of your plugin, installing the working version from our other site to this new site, deactivating all plugins, deleting all other javascript files, even switching themes to the WP 2016 theme, but nothing has worked.

The issue we are having is when you go to the Settings area of the plugin, you see the General Settings box, with the “Show form” link, along with “Viewing Events” etc, and the “If the form below is not working please follow this link” and the Save Settings button. Nothing else shows up.

When we click on Show form, nothing happens. When we click on “this link” nothing happens. We hit save, and it saves, but again we do not see any of the Settings Options that we see on the other site.

Another clue to the issue, when we go to add a new event, and click in the calendar box for the start/end dates, the calendar picker does not come up.

Again, we have tried deleting and reinstalling the plugin, deactivating all other plugins, activating a different theme, even trying three different browsers – nothing has worked to solve the issue.

Any ideas, or things we can try?

  • Hi,

    Please try:

    – Delete the file uninstall.php from the plugin directory that is currently on the server (found under /wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar). Deleting this file ensures that when you uninstall the current version of the plugin, your event data and calendar settings will be preserved when you delete the plugin (don’t skip this step – it’s important!)
    – Deactivate the All-in-One Event Calendar using your WordPress Dashboard.
    – Delete the All-in-One Event Calendar using your WordPress Dashboard.
    – Database -> wp_options, click option_name to sort and delete everything with ai1ec_, this will delete plugin settings but events will remain in the database.
    – Now install the latest version.

Went through each step in the order you gave, but no joy. Installed is version 2.5.14, but still no Settings showing, just the same window with the links to show form, click link if form not showing up, etc. Also, the calendar picker is not showing up as well, but there is an error message now right above that in the Add New page:

Warning: http_build_query() [function.http-build-query]: Parameter 1 expected to be Array or Object. Incorrect value given in /wp-includes/Requests/Transport/cURL.php on line 507

Like I said, this plugin is working on a different site on the same server, so I’m at a loss for where to go from here.

http_build_query issue has been fixed in the version 2.5.14. Which PHP version you are using, what kind of server, how much PHP memory you have?

Your latest update seems to have fixed the problem!

    Great Work!

    Thank you

Working for me now as well. Still the same version of the plugin (latest 2.5.14), but today it started working. Not sure what changed, but working now, and no errors.

I’m having the same issue with the settings page not loading, calendar picker not loading, in addition to no longer having tags on the “Organize” menu and not being able to create new events because the date won’t save. I’ve tried all the steps outlined above and it hasn’t resolved the problem.

    Hi @katjames17,

Apologies for the delay in responding to your inquiry. We’ve updated the calendar and have issued several bug fixes with the newest releases for our WordPress Core Plugin, as well as our hosted calendar versions.
