Settings page stuck “Loading your optimized images…”

    Wordpress dashboard > Media > Optimole

    “Loading your optimized images…” Progress bar hangs at completion.

    No images displayed below the bar, as they usually would be.

    Buttons for “clear cached resources” and “save” are inoperable, with an infinite progress spinner.

    Button for “disconnect” inoperable. Clears api key field but does not disconnect.

    Slider buttons for controls inoperable.

    Tabs switching and submenu selections work as expected.

    Tried deactivating and reactivating plugin. Tried deleting and reinstalling plugin. Tried rolling back plugin. Tried restarting browser. Tried clearing browser cache. Tried alternative browsers. Tried rebooting device. Tried accessing settings page from multiple devices.

    This seems like the WordPress REST API endpoints are unresponsive.
    Can you try to save the Settings > Permalinks so that the .htaccess is regenerated.

    Or check that you don’t have any security plugins that might be blocking access to your API, also make sure there are no rules for redirects.

    I have a similar issue. For me the pregress bar is stuck on 0%.

    Hi @jimipol,

    The progress bar on the Optimole plugin indicates the amount of quota you are using and not the percentage of the optimized images, so everything is fine there ??

    Also, as this thread is resolved please open a new thread if you face any issues or questions.
