Settings won't update (2.0.4)
-
The settings page will not update…it will create a new page for the calendar, but none of the other functions are run and the MySQL table for the options isn’t updated.
I’ve tried disabling all plugins etc…no luck.

Thank you so much! Stupid me, I need to look a little harder to find the user_roles. I uploaded the code. I also went into active-plugins and deleted it from there.
I am back in the dashboard. I am still having trouble disabling the plugin from the dashboard. When I click to delete, it looks like it is going to delete but then the screen goes white. Do i still need to go into the database and delete all the ai1ec items?
One more question….the events page still comes up as a the default home page. If I delete that page, will everything go back to normal?
Thank you!
Hi jponton,
No problem, I am glad your problem is solved.
Try this: Database -> wp_options, click option_name to sort and delete everything with ai1ec_
You’ve probably set events page as Front page, in admin -> Settings -> Reading -> Front page
Hope this helps.
Thank you! I should delete all of these from wp_options:
ai1ec_cron_version
ai1ec_current_theme
ai1ec_db_version
ai1ec_deactivate_message
ai1ec_events_regeneration_version
ai1ec_facebook_db_version
ai1ec_ics_db_version
ai1ec_less_variables
ai1ec_logging_cron_version
ai1ec_log_db_ver
ai1ec_n_cron_version
ai1ec_package_url
ai1ec_parsed_css
ai1ec_plugin_name
ai1ec_render_css
ai1ec_scheduler_hooks
ai1ec_settings
ai1ec_themes_version
ai1ec_update_available
ai1ec_update_message
ai1ec_upgrade
ai1ec_u_cron_versionShould I also delete all of these from the main database:
wp_ai1ec_events
wp_ai1ec_events_2014_04_08_6429
wp_ai1ec_events_dt_ui_mig
wp_ai1ec_event_category_colors
wp_ai1ec_event_feeds
wp_ai1ec_event_instances
wp_ai1ec_event_instances_2014_04_08_6429
wp_ai1ec_event_instances_dt_ui_mig
wp_ai1ec_facebook_users
wp_ai1ec_facebook_users_events
wp_ai1ec_facebook_users_events_2014_04_08_6429
wp_ai1ec_facebook_users_events_dt_ui_mig
wp_ai1ec_loggingJust deleting the items from the wp_options worked! My site is back.
Thank you soooo much!
jane
No problem ??
@nicola.peluchetti :
it looks like you still have 1.10.11 installed and active then, as that call relates to standard
.. So weird because not only in my plugging page it shows that i have the Version 2.0.4 of All-in-One Event Calendar by Time.ly “ACTIVATE”, but at the same time i am having this new error message since i updated to wp 3.8.3, saying that the plugging is “DEACTIVATED” …..see error message below…

The plugging only shows once in my plugging page… not too sure what s going on but all i really want if we cannot find a solution to my problem is to be able to re-install the version 2.0.4 of All-in-One Event Calendar by Time.ly without losing all my calendars data…
thank you
So, back to my original message.
My settings won’t update…and I’ve upgraded to 2.0.5Can someone help please?
@jashan yes I am using linux
To be honest, if I understood the settings value I’d manually update them to get me by – it used to work though and don’t know why it doesn’t anymore.
Hello,
Tp fix the settings issue:
Go to wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/app/model -> settings.phpline 381 – ‘To clear, hold ?/CTRL and click selection.’
Remove this line, save settings, and revert this line, now it should work. Thanks
That has fixed it!!
Finally – thank you so much.
I can’t change the ‘week starts on’, but everything else seems to work.
Hello,
Please check for theme and plugin conflicts.
Thanks
just updated (via wordpress not manually) to Version 2.0.6 and it corrected everything.. everything back to normal!!! so it was a problem with version 2.0.4
Hello,
I’m glad your issues are resolved ??
@raacedemy: Is your issue solved with 2.0.6?
