    Settings>Checkout>Change currency follow>Billing Address

The issue was first noticed after updating to WP 6.2

The price and currency symbol changes when a country that uses the base currency ( Euro ) is selected, however if United States or Canada are chosen ( the only alternates for US$ ) only the currency symbol changes, the price itself remains the Euro value.

If the Checkout page is then reloaded, the price will then update to US$.

If the option Sync checkout currency, is also selected, then the checkout page automatically reloads, and everything works correctly. However that is not the desired behavior.

  • Hi,

This issue appears to be related to the cache plugin. Do you have a cache plugin activated on your website?

    Best regards.

    Hi,

Yes, we have WP Super Cache running, however the checkout page is excluded. I tested a site clone with WP Super Cache turned off, server and local caches cleared, and the behavior is the same.

If I switch the billing country to a primary currency listed country it works as expected, however if I switch to a country of a secondary currency listed country <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>only the currency symbol changes</span> the primary currency price remains.

If then the page is reloaded, the price will update to the secondary currency.

Privately, I can give you the link to the clone site if you wish to test it yourself.

    Thanks
