settings>reading settings>blog pages show at most 1

Hello Maeve,
I tried to change the permalinks from default to postname, and changed pagination value to e.g “12”, and value of “blog pages show at most” still automaticaly changing (its changed to 12 =(((( ).
And also on my web site I cannot use %postname% in permalinks. Because actually my links are in russian, and using cyrilics in url can cause all sorts of grief with social media sites and search engine indexing.

Im facing this exact same problem and have the number stuck at one. I tried changing the permalinks and it won’t help.

Your post is unclear whether you mean you have the original issue and didn’t try the permalink structure fix I suggested, or whether you DID try the fix but had the same result as @sorokin…. Please can you clarify? Thanks

I updated the plugin, increased the Blog pages show at most setting, and it didn’t stay. I disabled the plugin and was able to increase the blog count.

*sigh* sorry guys… try 1.7 The fix is in themefiles/single-wpcproduct.php

@nel7 in 1.6 basically every single file had major updates because of the internationlization…

1.7 didn’t make a difference. I updated, cleared the cache, and tried increasing the count. When I hit save, it went to 1. Disabling the plugin resulting in the count changes saving.

I see a similar pagination issue with respect to number of products overriding the number of posts on https://patatechnologies.com/ret2/ which uses WP 3.6, wp-catalogue 1.7 and 2012 v1.1 theme. In addition only individual “product category” pagination works completely. “All products” paginations breaks correctly and shows the correct number of products and pages, but each page number shows the same products.

I’ve had the same problems from day one. Until a fix is found, I’m using this plugin:

Which at any rate gives more control over post limits.

Setting the post limit of front page to the desired number, and other results as well, yielded the desired effect.

I’m sorry this pagination bug is still a problem for some users. The problem I’m having is that I can’t replicate the error, and each time I’ve implemented a fix that works on one or two sites specific users have allowed me access it works on those sites, but the same fix is not working for everyone else. I am continuing to work the problem. Anyone else who has an affected site and is happy to share some temporary login details with me please get in touch

Hi, I have same issue with WP 3.5 and Raindrops theme 1.108. After I set products per page 6 all was OK. Bug occurred only after I set products per page to “9”. After this- no way back. Plugin Custom-post-limits https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/custom-post-limits/ was solution for me. Thanks marcosidillicah.
