    Hello,

We are a specialty store based in India, selling Globally.

It is mentioned within the plugins:

    Increase organic reach
Pinterest users can easily discover, save and buy products from your website without any advertising spend from you. Track your performance with the Pinterest tag.

It is also mentioned on the Pinterest website https://help.pinterest.com/en/business/availability/ads-availability that the countries we sell to (Globally) are be advertised for.

However, it is disallowing us to upload the catalog to pinterest.

I believe all stores, irrespective of ads-availability should be able to upload their catalog on Pinterest for Organic Reach.
The store who wish to advertise, can follow through further with ads setup.

As such, we want to run ads for customers in the USA markets.

    Please help us.

    Regards;

    Hello Bling007

    Hope you’re doing well!

Please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.
Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.
We will be able to help you further there.

We will probably need information that should not be available on the forum.

    Best
    Pepe

    Hey @bling007

    Hope you are doing well!

This plugin only synchronize the catalog and the Tag event from your site to your Pinterest account. Is your catalog already synched? and you Tag event working?

for running ads for customers in the USA markets you mey need to contact Pinterest Support. Here we resolve problems of the plugin.

Syncing the catalog is the issue!
We are unable to sync the catalog to Pinterest.

The store is located in India, sells Globally. The setup error states that Indian stores cannot sync catalog on Pinterest as ads are not supported in India.

However, we are a Global store. And in all scenarios, there should be no restrictions on syncing catalogs from unsupported countries.

    Hey @bling007 ,

This is a restriction from Pinterest not the plugin. Please contact Pinterest Support to solve your problem.

The Pinterest plugin calls the Pinterest API and receive the message you mention. So the plugin just is showing what Pinterest sends.

Let me know if that helps.

    Best,
    Christian
