    WordPress does have different user accounts built into it so the first thing I would check on something like this is whether or not the user account that you are logged in under while working in the site allows the permission to change plugin settings.

    This WordPress link here does provide good information in describing the access capabilities and user privileges for each type of user.

    If you have full administrator rights to the WordPress site and are still receiving the message then let us know and we can dig deeper.

    If your user is an admin but you’re still having the problem then try following the directions in this FAQ and let us know whether it works for you.
