• Where is the option to enable web translation when I want to edit the post there is only an option for professional or test.

Furthermore, I have been at a loss to get the subdomain languages to work properly. I have a followed my hosting companies advice for a wildcard domain which should be working. I am in need of some sort of tutorial (if there are any)….

I have not seen such a tutorial. It would be nice if you figure it out and write up how to do it for others. I will publish it in FAQ then. Thanks a lot.
I would not do wildcard though, I would create a separate sub-domain with appropriate prefix for each language and pointed it to the same folder WP folder. That is a start. Then describe exactly what does not work, if you cannot figure it out.

    As for the web translation?

I am not sure what you mean, I always saw two options only and never used any, they did not make much sense to me. It needs to be redesigned or removed in the future releases. For now it is there as a legacy. In which plugin did you see a “web translation” option?

    Any progress on subdomains?

@destac: How is it going? Are you familiar with this document:
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
which is linked from /wp-admin/options-general.php page. Would it help you on subdomain setup?
