I’m sorry to hear about the trouble, but thanks for reaching out.

While your site is publicly accessible, we cannot access your site’s XML-RPC file:

This file is used by Jetpack and other plugins and apps to connect to your site. It must return the following message:

XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.

You can see a working example here:

As your xmlrpc page is not returning the expected message, I recommend reaching out to your host and having it sorted out.

Once done that, you can try reconnecting Jetpack and see if the issue gets solved; we’re happy to run more tests to make sure all is looking nice and well-connected.

I’ll ask the host anyway, this previously worked, I haven’t changed anything on the server, but perhaps they have ?????♂?

Ah, it appears there’s some sort of malware that is redirecting wordpress traffic (on occasion) to cartoonmines.com

I’m so glad you spotted the malware! Let your host sort it out for you, then once that’s fixed you should be able to reconnect Jetpack.
