Setup of query block grids

Hi. I am setting up a grid in a query block, to create an overview for child pages of the page with query block in. The grid shows title, date and excerpt, but I can’t seem to find any settings for this. Specifically I would like to remove the date and change the number of characters in excerpts. The excerpts does not show in a consistant manner currently, from what I can see. Anyone got a tip for me?
