    Hi,

I want to add this option (Payflow) on checkout. Can you please tell me what I put on the following: Live PayPal Vendor, Live PayPal Password, Live Paypal User?

Also, what’s the difference between “Payflow” and “Payments Pro (Do Direct Payment)?”

    Thanks in advance,
    George

DoDirectPayment and PayFlow are two separate API gateways that can be used with PayPal for processing cards directly. You need to get Payments Pro enabled on your account, and depending on which version you get setup with you’ll be using one or the other.

So that’s the first step. Have you gotten Payments Pro enabled on your account yet?

    I read here: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/paypal-payments-pro/integration-guide/#overview

that Website Payments Pro is available in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

So I suppose I can’t use it if I’m not in those countries :/

*EDIT: REST accepts credit/debit cards? I just read here: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/integration/direct/payments/

“The use of the PayPal REST /payments APIs to accept credit card payments is restricted.”

Yes, Pro is only available in the US, UK, and Canada. REST is only available in the US currently. You can still use Express Checkout, though, and make sure to enable the Guest Checkout functionality. This allows non-PayPal account holders to enter a credit card for payment, but would still happen in the PayPal checkout form.
