Setup Problems – Erwitt Photography Theme

    Hi there,

    I’m using a rather small theme, so I was prepared for it to maybe not immediately work as expected. But I’m also not that well versed with these things.

    I set up the website_before and website_after hooks as described, but when I trigger the sidebar, the page just reloads. I think it collides with some of the transitions from the theme.

    Hi @itswnhng

    When I look at the URL you’ve posted I don’t see any HTML related to this plugin so I think the installation wasn’t successful.
    Did you test with the validator (see settings)?

    This is because of the maintenance plugin I’m using. I’ll temporarily turn it off for you to see the site.

    When testing the hooks, it tells me that they’re working:

    Hi @itswnhng

    I see you’ve disabled the maintenance mode so I can view the site.
    When clicking on the “contact” menu item I noticed an animation from your theme, this is probably the issue. It refreshes the page after clicking the link.
    The sidebar itself works fine when I check it through the console.
    You’ll need to ask the theme developer how to bypass this behavior. Otherwise you cannot use a menu item for this plugin.
