setup with cloudflare, mail setup

    Hi Gioni,

    excuse my two questions which may seem somewhat stupid to wordpress literated users.

    1. what is the recommended plug-in setup when all my multisite sites use Cloudflare (free) accounts?

    2. all my sites use Easy WP SMTP plugin. But mailing from Cerber does not work for me.

    I use VMWARE VM, Win Server 2008 r2, latest PHP 5.6, fastcgi mode, Apache. I run hMailserver.

    I would very appreciate your advice and I am very thankful for your great piece of poetry. Even the name and logo I find beutiful and well suited.

    PS. Just forgot to mention that I installed Cerber yesterday while under rpcxml attack with default settings, network activated it and my multisite seems to work fine, attacks alleviated. Even one subsite which is set completely private with WP-Members plugin works fine.

    PPS. ad 2) ′message has been sent′ appears when trying to send test mail, but no mail arrives. spam folder also checked, different mail recipients tried.

    Hi eligoo!

    Are you receiving other emails from your site?
    To send letters Cerber uses wp_mail() function without ricks any kind.

    Yes, all sites can send e-mails.
    I just found that when going to “network dashboard” and Cerber from any subsite the Cerber e-mail test works. But going directly to Cerber/Multisite Network causes the send conformation without any mail really sent.

    I did resolve it. The problem was a restriction in mail server.

    One more question:
    when I disable xmlrpc the whitelist is not able to connect it?

    That’s nice.
    IPs from the White List are able to use/interact with anything from the Hardening tab and has no limits on login attempts.

    Unfortunately it does not work for me.
    I put my IP in the whitelist and tried to post with my usual python script.
    Then I re-enabled xmlrpc in hardening tab and the script posted successfully.

    Could you check Activity tab for your IP? What do you see?

    Problem solved by enabling “site behind proxy” option.

    Your plugin helped me much and I thank you for it. As soon as I get more experience with its functionning in my multisite I write a review. For the moment I give it just briefly 5 stars.
