sever hangs on homepage after import

  • Hi all,

    My client had imported posts and pages from her old blog to the new one I’m working on. Everything went well except that the server doesn’t load the homepage any more. It does load the other pages and the admin area.
    After a long wait I get this error: server has initialised, can’t load page.
    In the back-end the front page is still assigned to the static homepage I created. There is no second page called home imported.

    I hope someone can tell me where to start looking for a solution to this problem. TIA for your time and effort.
